Private Lessons

All lessons teach some horse management skills as well as riding skills. We provide the ponies to give your child a safe and enjoyable experience.

Our child beginner lesson rate is a very competitive $55 for a 45 minute private lesson. We encourage a minimum of a lesson a week as good progress is seen to be made with that frequency. We encourage regular lessons by giving a 10% discount (i.e. 10 lessons for $500). The 10 lessons have to be taken over the course of 12 weeks. We are happy to teach make up lessons at times that are convenient for you.

Our regular rate on our horses is $70 per lesson or $260 for four or $325 for five a month.

Group Lessons

Semi-private and group lessons are available after a basic skill set has been acquired.

BYOH

If you have your own horse you are welcome to trailer-in and have a lesson. These lessons cost $50 plus South Bay’s trailer-in fee of $20.

Birthday Parties

We also offer birthday parties. Our birthday parties include riding lessons for 10–15 kids and a craft project. We provide 2–3 horses and instructors for 90 minutes and the equipment, expertise and staff needed to create a craft item. The price for a birthday party is $300 or $450 depending on the number of horses needed.

We accept credit cards via Square, online payments with Zelle (usually via your online banking app) or checks.
