Camp FAQ
How Old Must My Child Be to Attend Camp?
Campers must be between 6 and 16 years old.
How Many Children Will Be in Each Camp?
To ensure that camp is a safe, fun and educational experience for your child, the maximum number of children will be limited to 10 per camp.
What Will the Ratio of Children Be to Each Camp Counselor?
There will be a minimum of one experienced camp counselor for every four children.
Will My Child Be Taught to Ride in a Group Lesson With Other Children?
No, unlike most other camps, all riding lessons are individual. Your child receives one-on-one coaching from an instructor who has broad experience teaching children to ride. This ensures that your child gets 100% of the instructor’s attention at all times to maximize their learning and to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Are Your Camps Run by a Bunch of Kids Themselves?
Absolutely not. Our camps are supervised by adults with extensive camp, riding and horsemanship experience.
How Much Riding Experience Does My Child Need to Attend Camp?
Campers can be from total beginners with no riding or horse experience to those with more advanced riding and horsemanship skills. Those with more experience will be grouped separately for horsemanship lessons to cover more advanced topics.
